| DHS Releases Tier Letters for CFATS |

The Department of Homeland Security announced yesterday (June 23) the release of post Top-Screen preliminary Tier assignment letters for the CFATS program. Faciities in Tiers 1-4 can expect to receive letters via overnight delivery this week. Any facility that is tiered out will recieve their letter via regular US mail. There were 25,000 facilities tiered out of the program. There were 219 Tier 1 assignments, 756 Tier 2 assignments, 1,712 Tier 3 assignments and 4,319 Tier 4 assignments.
