| AcuTech’s Martin Rose Presents at Environmental Chemistry Symposium |

On May 21, 2009, AcuTech’s Martin Rose spoke on “Inherent Safety Issues and Methodologies for Implementation” at the 12th Annual Frances S. Sterrett Environmental Chemistry Symposium: Reducing Our Ecological Footprint, hosted by the New York Section of the American Chemical Society. The event took place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.
The presentation focused on current IST status and issues, technology and evaluation tools, and inherently safer design strategies and analysis approaches.
AcuTech is a recognized subject matter expert on IST, providing IST services to industry and government. AcuTech served as the lead author for the second edition of seminal book for the AIChE Center for Chemical Process Safety, “ Inherently Safer Chemical Processes, A Life Cycle Approach. ” Dave Moore, AcuTech’s President & CEO, has testified before the US Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on IST for chemical security.
